My darling Gentle Reader, I am away at Nova Albion Steampunk Exhibition
this weekend. Being as witty as possible under circumstances of sleep deprivation, overwhelmingly lovely costumes, aching feet, and too much fun.
Nevertheless I have A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
I'm certain you are all trembling in your boots (nice, stylish, pretty boots). For you have been wondering for months, Gentle Reader, yearning to know only one thing in life . . . what is Miss Gail's Secret Project F?
Is she planning to take over the word and redecorate it for fashion
purposes? Are there flute
lessons in her future? Or is Floote
butlering where he shouldn't? Or is it all three?
Well, the waiting is over!
I am delighted to announce that Secret Project F is . . . a four book young adult series
! (I know I know a fashionable Floote playing the flute would be so much fun.)The Finishing School Series
is set in the same world as The Parasol Protectorate series
, only 25 years earlier, and features a finishing academy located in a giant caterpillar-like dirigible floating over Dartmoor in which young ladies are taught to . . . finish . . . everything . . . and everyone . . . as needed. There will be steampunk etiquette! There will be well-dressed espionage! There will be Victorian fake food. There will be flying mechanical sausage dogs named Bumbersnoot. I am excited. The first book will come out Feb 5, 2013.

says of Changeless,
"The thing that stands out the most for me is the spectrum of emotion in this story - the reader is sent on a roller coaster ride throughout the story."
Quote of the Day:
"I never admit to more than 29 years of age. 30 at the most. 29 when there are pink shades, 30 when there are not."
