You know you're a book lover when you still get upset about the Library at Alexander.
The Japanese covers to the novels have been lovely so far.

That's a cute bookmark in the fan pic - one of Alexia's immortal lines.
I don't know about the mob cap and apron, but she sure means business with that parasol :D

Random aside, my mom and stepdad have been reading the series :) Mom is on Heartless, Stepdad is on Timeless. He said he feels as if he were to swear out loud while holding the book, it would go "now now, no need for such language" at him lol.
just a response to your

I am a librarian and have learned about this library and it breaks my heart. I love this image and thanks for sharing.
So agree about the library at Alexandria but then I am an historian.

I'm a history nerd and proud of it

User everstone referenced to your post from I'm a history nerd and proud of it saying: [...] lost :( [Image found on Gail Carriger's blog: http://gailcarriger.livejournal.com/203061.html [...]
Very upset about all those tremendous libraries lost throughout history, and (recently most upset about South American cultural loss), but you know what I read first?
"YOU STILL GET UPSET THINKING ABOUT THE LIBRARY OF ALEXIA."
Well done. XD
it's gorgeous. :)
