But seriously, I really could see how far you've come as a writer between My Sister's Song and Marine Biology. </p>

As satisfying as it is for me, a reader, to witness that, I know it must be doubly so for you as a writer!

It's strange really to think about the shifts. I guess you could say what I learned the most was a certain breeziness of disregard. I used to be so much more self-conscious. Almost two decades separates those stories!
